Neurosurgery Specialist, Vienna

Dear Reader,
For the past 20 years, I have been dedicated to caring for neurosurgical patients. Since September 2009, I have been working as a senior consultant at the Hospital Wiener Neustadt in Lower Austria, which is recognized as an Oncology Center. It is located just 1 km from MedAustron, a facility for cancer treatment and research, and only 50 km from Vienna.
My responsibilities encompass planning and performing neurosurgical procedures, as well as overseeing postoperative care. As a regular member of the Tumor Board, I specialize in stereotactic brain tumor biopsies and neurosurgical oncology.
My primary focus lies in treating brain tumors, including meningiomas and glioblastomas. Additionally, as a senior neurosurgeon, I am experienced in spinal surgery, particularly in addressing back pain related to herniated discs and spinal canal narrowing.
As a private physician, I conduct consultations after reviewing patients' images and medical histories. I take the time to perform neurological examinations and discuss potential therapies and surgical options with my patients. I am also open to providing second opinions on existing diagnoses and treatment plans.
